Inspired by their studios in Sydney and Melbourne, this exclusive showroom brings a whole new level of sophistication and design to premium building products.
Created as a stylish destination for architects, designers and their clients, Brickwork’s Design Studio is all about design inspiration and showcasing Brickworks’ product range.
The Studio will also be the venue for industry design events and workshops, and a meeting place for architects and their clients.
In 2018 Brickworks, one of Australia’s biggest manufacturers of building materials, entered the US market when it acquired Glen-Gery, the fourth largest brick manufacturer in the USA.
Their new Manhattan Design Studio is a strong statement by Brickworks, now the leading brickmaker in the North-East of the United States, with a reputation for premium products and high exposure to the architectural market.
The Brickworks 5th Avenue flagship studio was the first design collaboration in the US between Melbourne based Red Design Group, and New York architects DHD.
The partnership has proven to be so successful that the two firms have launched RXD, a new retail architecture and design agency.
Headquartered in New York, and working across all US states, RXD is jointly owned by Red, and DHD, focusing especially on design and documentation for large scale retail roll-out projects in the US.
With DHD’s strong track record as respected NY architects, Red’s reputation as a leading global design practice, and our Red Plus offshore drafting team in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, RXD offers retailers a fast, affordable and responsive design and documentation service for large scale store rollouts.
